Ridgecrest Staff
Senior Pastor:
Dr. David Whitley

          Dr. David Whitley has served as Senior Pastor of                     
Ridgecrest Worship Center since August 2002. During that
time period the church made its transition from its former property on
Davis Street (as South Rocky Mount Church of God) to its current location
at 1120 West Mount Drive.  Pastor Whitley along with his wife Beth
have served the Lord as a pastoral team for over twenty years.                
In addition to Pastor Whitley's responsibilities
as a Senior Pastor he has served his denomination as a District
Overseer, State Council member, World Missions
Board member, Evangelism and Home Missions member, and as a     
State Evangelist.

For seven years Pastor Whitley served as an Assistant Professor of
Biblical Studies for both East Coast Bible
College as well as Lee University. Dr. Whitley is an alumnus and graduate
of the following institutions:
East Coast Bible College (B.A.), Church of God School of Theology (M.A.)
and Erskine Theological Seminary
(Doctor of Ministry). He and his wife enjoy spending time with their family
and they have three children, Aaron,
Davita and Skyler.
Music Minister:
Tony Robinson

Tony Robinson has been Ridgecrest Worship Center Music
Director since June 2008. Tony is a graduate of Western
Carolina University and has taught public school instrumental
music for the past 26 years. Presently, Mr. Robinson is the
band instructor and Fine Art Director at Wakefield Middle
School in Raleigh, and is conductor of the Triangle Youth
Symphony, one of three youth orchestras of the North
Carolina Symphony.

Tony has served as pianist and organist in his local church,
until excepting the position as music director at Capital City
Church-Raleigh in 1999 and Ridgecrest Worship
Center-Rocky Mount in 2008. His wife Leslie and son Aaron
are very active in the music ministry serving as musicians and
singers.
