RWC Music Ministry
| The Mission Our mission is to exalt the name of Jesus through voices and instruments, to develop the talent of each person who participates in the ministry, and to strive to lead others in a closer walk with the Lord through the ministry of music. Each service is a unique worship experience as we lift praises to God on High! Music Ministry Opportunities: Worship Ensemble This group provides music for services and leads the congregation in praise and worship opportunities at each service. This ensemble rehearses each Sunday morning from 9:50 to 10:40. Members are selected by the music director. RWC BAND Musicians providing service music for Praise and Worship, accompaniment for the sanctuary choir and special music selections. This ensemble rehearses from 8:45 to 10:40 each Sunday morning. Sanctuary Choir Our sanctuary choir sings for all Sunday morning worship services, bi-monthly Sunday Evening worship service and prepares programs each year in cantata and musical production settings. The choir rehearses each Sunday morning from 8:45 to 9:45. Special Singers Individuals and small groups provide music for Sunday worship services as scheduled. Sights and Sound The support team providing sound, video, lighting, service recordings, visual enhancement for praise and worship, and for pastor’s sermons and lectures. The Music Ministry Opportunities are open for all who are interested in participating, and a willingness to be at all practices and church worship opportunities. |
