Christian Education
A vibrant Sunday School program provides classes for nursery, pre-school,
primaries, middle, juniors and youth, and a strong adult Sunday Bible study
program offers classes for singles, young married, middle, and senior adults.
Music Ministry
Here at Ridgecrest, our music ministry focuses on the message of Christ. Our
volunteer choir answers their call to share with the congregation the Spirit of God,
as revealed in music. A blend of contemporary and traditional styles allows us to
reach people with different musical tastes.
Besides choral music, we offer on special occasions vocal solos and instrumental
music performed by worshippers of all ages. Special productions are presented
during the holiday seasons to further emphasize the message. Any one who feels a
call to join us in this form of praise, regardless of musical ability, is welcome.
Adult Ministries
It is our desire and goal to minister to adults at all stages in their lives. Besides a full
slate of Bible Study groups during Sunday School and Wednesday evening, we also
have a variety of adult groups that provide needed times of fellowship and
relationship building. New groups are being planned to meet the various interests
and needs of adults of all ages. Some of the current groups are:
Men’s Fellowship
Ladies Ministry
Senior Adult Ministry
Youth Ministry
Ridgecrest has an exciting youth ministry the 2.5.2. (hint: look up Psalms 25:2).
Many young people today are being bombarded from every side.
Broken families, drug and alcohol abuse, sexual promiscuity and
suicide are only a few of the complex issues they face. We seek to
help young people by giving them Biblical answers to these and other problems and
at the same time overcome the evil by good wholesome activities which are fun. If
you have young people ages 13-18 we would love for them to be a part of our
growing youth group.
Children's Ministry
We believe children are precious to the Lord. Therefore, we endeavor to provide
loving, quality care and well-planned Bible learning activities to equip your children
for their Christian walk. Our children’s ministry includes: Sunday School classes are
organized according to school class levels. This is followed by Children’s Church
which is divided into worship, music and discipleship training.
On Wednesday evenings, we also provide classes for all ages. In these classes, we
seek to enrich and develop our children in the spiritual disciplines.
Small Groups Ministry
The goal of Small Groups is to create a sense of community within the church,
which is vital to the health and effectiveness of the church. This mission is
accomplished through several areas of emphasis: providing an opportunity for
individuals to fellowship and connect with others; helping people to focus on
disciplines important to their spiritual journey; and fostering development of people’s
talents, gifts and abilities. Even though Ridgecrest is a growing church, the sense of
community cultivated through Small Groups serves to create a strong sense of unity
