| The early history of the church began with a small group of people assembling in the homes of each other to worship God in prayer meetings. After a short time they rented a tin garage on Nashville Road and had regular services. In November 1924 the church was officially organized. In 1926 they started building their first facility on the corner of Davis and Anderson Streets and have been in that area since then. The Lord has blessed and the church has grown over the years. It has been a part of the Rocky Mount community for over 80 years. As a part of the world's oldest Pentecostal Denomination, the Church of God in Cleveland, Tennessee, we help support ministries in 169 countries of the world. Our facilities are located at 1120 West Mount Drive. We have something for all age groups as well as the number one voted daycare in the Rocky Mount area. We are very excited about what God has in store for us and we hope you will want to be a part of it. |
